About us
Jewish Messianic Community Etz-Haim («Tree of Life»)
We are the Jewish community of Munich that follows the teachings of the Messiah of Israel, Joshua, and wants to introduce him to His own Jewish people.
How can we pass on the value of Jewish identity to our children? What does it mean to be Jewish in Germany? What does Jewish history teach us? These are essential questions for us! Jewish heritage and culture are a wealth for us, Shabbat is a special gem, Jewish holidays are a pleasure!
But what is most important to us, our hallmark and the source of our joy even in difficult moments, is our tree of life, and its name is Joshua.
Yeshua was a righteous Jew who lived 2,000 years ago in Israel. He was overflowing with wisdom and power, justice and mercy. He brought hope and relief to the poor and did not shun the needy. He loved the truth and was not afraid to call things by their proper names.
Predictably, many loved him and many hated him. One thing no one but the Hebrew prophets could have foreseen: Yeshua was the promised Messiah of Israel, the Savior of the world!
His terrible and shameful death proved to be a source of life. Though all his friends scattered and his enemies triumphed, they were all wrong. He turned out to be none other than the son of David, the King of Israel.
Yeshua gave His life, paying for the sins of His people and all who would believe Him. His restoration to life is confirmation that God accepted his sacrifice. So, Yeshua is alive! Turn to Him, ask Him for forgiveness for your transgressions! After all, He is able to give new life, abundant life, and even eternal life!
We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to Him!
